The LM-1 micro ROADM is an open line system (OLS) highly compact as it offers 2 degree ROADM fully redundant in a single rack unit (1 RU) and highly modular as it offer a large variety modules and plugs to customize each node to reach the best config / price point relationship.
This WSS-free ROADM is based over a grid-less optical multiplexer for maximum scalability supporting any lambda capacity, Multi-degree ROADM (WSS based) is also available. With a stackable design, the LM-1 microROADM can easily and cost effectively scale to satisfy the optical network growth, supporting and lambda capacity. The LM-1 micro ROADM is complemented by the LM-1 WDM platform offering also passive D/CWDM applications.
