Complete solution for migrating legacy SDH/PDH networks to modern OTN/WDM infrastructures. Micro OTN Aggregator performs the grooming of E1 services (native or channelized) into OTN (OTU1 line interfaces), while MICRO OTN HUB has the capability to close different SDH and/or OTN rings of E1 aggregators and to groom traffic over a large number of interfaces that can be legacy (SDH STM-1/4/16) or new (OTU1/OTU2). This allows a smooth migration of existing networks into modern OTN/WDM networks, simplifying the management but maintaining the services active minimizing the traffic impact during the migration while enabling deployment of new higher capacity services.
