LM-1 OTN 200G - Disaggregated 100G/200G Coherent Transponder

The LM-1 OTN 200G is the latest addition to the LM-1 product family portfolio.
This disaggregated transponder offers 100G and 200G coherent line capacity in a single 1 rack unit (ETSI), SDN native super compact solution.
The 200Gbps coherent line offers the advantage of a lower cost per bit relationship while offering high capacity scalability, over the same infrastructure.

  • On existing WDM infrastructure where compactness is key requirement
  • To provide either 100GbE or OTU4 transport in the most optimized way with the possibility of client protection.
  • To offer colored interfaces to existing 100G and Nx100G Ethernet interfaces, e.g. connecting routers through the optical network
  • In new network deployments together with LM-1 micro ROADM optical line system
  • Together with the LM-1 OTN 100G as drop shelf to aggregate multiple client line (OTN, Eth, SDH) and/or provide OTN networking and protection mechanisms

 

According to market analysts Dell'Oro the 200G coherent line will represent the highest share of shipment for the next three years.
