For those who are interested to enter into the technical details or explore further the application with real cases scenarios we will also present a pre-congress workshop during the morning of the first day, dedicated to operators only.
SM-Optics will discuss how they have been able to facilitate technologies for enhanced networks. Key highlights of the session will cover:

-  Micro-ROADM
-  Software reconfigurable nodes & networks
-  How will metro networks need to be addressed differently?

Thursday 23 May 11:15 am Giorgio Cazzaniga, the Optical product line Director in SM-Optics, will hold the speech "Empowering your metro-access optical network with micro nodes"
we will share our experience and real case studies, we will hold a speech on micro-NODES and the benefits they offer:

- scaling capacity for business and mobile applications
- adapt to satisfy the dynamic network architectural changes
- reduce OPEX costs with preventive maintenance

In the exhibition area at the Stand n.8  
we will have a booth to meet, show our equipment and engage with you, we shall also have a meeting room to take our conversation forward, and a live demo.
